Nature Perspectives joined the Brainforest portfolio after Pitch Day of the Winter Venture Program Cohort 6 in December 2025, selected for investment by the Brainforest Investment Committee.
Co founders Gal Zanir and Abhik Palit met during their Masters in Conservation Leadership at Cambridge, circling one shared question: why does nature feel far away, even when we know it matters?
The answer began with a houseplant. In an early experiment with conversational AI, Gal combined scientific knowledge about a Monstera with the story of that individual plant, told from a first person perspective. By morning, he was speaking with "Monty the Monstera". That conversation became the start of Nature Perspectives.
Today, their platform enables anyone, anywhere to have meaningful conversations with the living world. Take a photo of a ladybug, a tree on your street, a swan on the river, and within seconds you can speak with it. Personal, emotionally resonant and grounded in science.
An early pilot in Cambridge drew nearly 1,500 sign ups and more than 1,600 conversations, as the founders shared in their interview with Brainforest. Since then, the team has enabled over 10,000 conversations with people from more than 140 countries, in museums, botanic gardens and public events.
With its investment, Brainforest supports Nature Perspectives in scaling the product and expanding distribution through museums, science centers, exhibitions and education partners. By 2030, the team aims to enable more than one million conversations with simulations of natural entities.
