The Brainforest Venture Program Cohort #6 brought together eight carefully selected startups from across the world, all driven by one mission: to regenerate and protect forests and biodiversity through innovation and entrepreneurship.
Over ten weeks, this group of founders did far more than “go through an accelerator”. They built friendships, challenged each other’s assumptions, sharpened their business strategies, and prepared to step into the spotlight with clarity and confidence.
If Cohort 5 felt like a young grove finding its rhythm, Cohort 6 felt like a forest edge full of energy. Fast growth, strong roots, and a lot of laughter along the way. 🌱
A ten week program. And three days in-person that brought it all together.
The structure stayed true to what makes Brainforest work. Hands on support, honest feedback, and a community that founders can lean on. This time, the ending looked a little different.
We hosted our final three day sprint at C.R.E.A.M. in Zürich. We doubled down on pitch training. During the time before we shared pizza. We played a Samichlaus game as an icebreaker. We did a breathwork and sauna session at KEEN to reset, connect, and breathe out some founder stress.
Then, on December 4, 2025, the founders took the stage in Zürich and pitched live in front of investors, partners, and our community. For everyone joining from afar, the Virtual Demo Day on December 9, 2025 brought the cohort to a wider audience online.
From seed to scale. What the Venture Program delivered.
Cohort 6 followed the same core promise. Support that helps founders move faster without losing depth or mission. The main support pillars included the following.
Mentorship.
Founders received one on one guidance from experienced entrepreneurs and domain experts. The focus stayed practical. Storytelling, customer insights, sales, forecast and much more.Access to networks.
The cohort tapped into Brainforest’s ecosystem of experts, investors, and partners. This created faster learning loops and gave space for feedback.Business model refinement.
We stress tested value propositions, go to market plans, pricing logic, and outreach strategies.Funding readiness.
Founders iterated their narrative, data room logic, and investor message repeatedly. By Pitch Day, each team could explain their problem, solution, traction, and next milestones with confidence.Creative and communication support.
Where needed, we supported founders on pitch deck clarity, messaging, outreach and website development.
All of that created the space for something that is hard to manufacture but easy to feel.
Momentum.

The closing moment. What we will remember.
A cohort is not only the slides, the sessions, or the pitch. It is the small moments where founders help each other see clearer. A hard question asked with care. A laugh during pizza night. A calm breath before stepping on stage. A sauna conversation that turns into a partnership lead two weeks later.
Cohort #6 reminded us that nature innovation is not one sector. It is many. Data, biotech, urban systems, restoration planning, packaging, biodiversity measurement, and culture. All of it matters. And it gets stronger when the people building it are connected.
To every founder in Cohort #6, thank you for the trust, the energy, and the ambition you brought into this program. You came in as bold seedlings. You left as teams with stronger roots, clearer direction, and a community behind you. 🌲

In which startup(s) would you have invested?
Our jury, Dr. Sonja Stuchtey, Amir Suissa, Bastian Wetzel, Marco Schneider, Joshua Berger, is getting ready to reveal their choices soon.
